An unchanged field of 23 drivers is set to compete in Round 2 of the 2025 Dunlop Super2 Series at Symmons Plains in Tasmania. This event marks the return of Super2 racing to Tasmania, with the state having hosted only two rounds in the past.

Among the competitors are two Tasmanian drivers, Campbell Logan from Hobart and Lochie Dalton from Launceston, who will have the home crowd’s support. The upcoming round will also feature a Top Five Shootout to determine the grid for Race 4, a first in the series’ history.
Although initially planning to re-join the series after missing the opening round, Matt Chahda Motorsport will not be participating in this round as team owner Amin Chahda recovers from a health issue. The team aims to return for Round 3 in July and might expand to field three cars.

Jordyn Sinni of Eggleston Motorsport currently leads the championship standings, followed closely by Cameron McLeod and rookie Ben Gomersall. Sinni holds a six-point lead over McLeod, with Gomersall trailing by 15 points.
The entry list for the Tasmania round includes rookies and seasoned drivers representing various teams such as Eggleston Motorsport, Triple Eight, and Brad Jones Racing. The competition promises to be intense as drivers vie for crucial championship points.

- Snorkel or no snorkel? Is it needed? Does it really make a difference for the dust? I live in the desert I heard “Race Cars” use them but I have never seen a race car use a snorkel. Is it just a fashion accessory? I understand if you are bombing through puddles and rivers. Someone help me.
